- Tri-Nations Cup pre-qualifying set to begin on 21st August via iRacing Time Attack
- Next Level Racing prizes up for grabs in main event
The Tri-Nations Cup is set to return to iRacing this month, with British, Australian and South African sim racers eligible to compete.
Appearing in various guises since its 2022 inception, the Tri-Nations Cup is organised and run by the national motorsport governing bodies of the UK, Australia and South Africa (Motorsport UK, Motorsport Australia and Motorsport South Africa, respectively).
Racers eager to become one of their country’s 10 selected drivers can qualify via a hotlapping competition using the Ford Mustang GT3 around Spa-Francorchamps. This can be found via iRacing’s Time Attack menu between the 21st and 23rd August.
The 10 fastest qualifiers from each nation will be eligible to participate in the main event in September across two 30-minute races (Silverstone and Mount Panorama), with a Next Level Racing prize for each country’s top performer.
To compete in the main event, British drivers will require a paid Motorsport UK Esports membership (£27.99 for 12 months) and be 16 years or older. Driver Eligibility
- All entrants must be 16 years old or over
- All entrants must hold a passport from the country they are representing
- To take part in the main event on 6th September, UK drivers must hold a paid Motorsport UK Esports Membership (no membership required for Pre-Qualifying)
